Single-motor simplicity

Start with City Pro or X1+ if you want a single-motor setup and a lower scooter weight than our larger performance models.

Dual-motor all-rounders

Consider M1+ or P1+ for dual-motor power and all-terrain tyres, without moving to the largest scooters in the range.

High-performance riding

Compare R1+, Z1+ Pro, EVR Pro and F1+ Pro carefully. Their extra capability comes with greater weight and storage demands.

Range and speed figures are maximums under optimum conditions. Rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding style affect performance. Scooter weight is not boxed shipping weight; maximum load is a separate limit.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

Read the specs. Understand the ride.

01

Start with the surface.

Road tyres and off-road tyres serve different needs. Think about the firm paths or rougher terrain on the private land where you have permission to ride. Check the tyres, suspension and brakes together rather than choosing by power alone.

02

Leave room in your range.

Quoted range is achieved under optimum conditions. Hills, rider weight, cold weather, higher speed and tyre pressure can reduce it. Choose enough range for the return journey, with a sensible margin.

03

Rated power is not peak power.

Rated motor power and peak output describe different things. Peak is a short-duration maximum, not power available continuously. Compare single versus dual motors, control and scooter weight as well as the wattage.

04

Look beyond the voltage.

48V, 52V, 60V and 72V describe battery voltage, not stored energy. For capacity, check amp-hours or watt-hours where supplied. Use the specified charger and compare charge time as part of your routine.

05

Can you lift and store it?

Scooter weight is the weight you need to move. Maximum load is the rider-and-luggage limit, not the scooter's weight. Measure your storage space and check actual scooter dimensions; boxed delivery dimensions are different.

06

Choose control, not just speed.

Compare wheel size, tyre type, suspension, braking and deck space. A more powerful or larger scooter is not automatically easier to handle. Pick a setup that suits your experience and the ground you will ride on.

07

Water resistance has limits.

An IP rating does not make a scooter waterproof. Avoid submersion, pressure washing and riding conditions excluded by the manual or warranty. Routine checks, correct tyre pressure and maintenance help protect your ride.

08

Think beyond the first ride.

Check delivery timing, model-specific warranty cover, replacement parts and support before ordering. Pre-orders have different dispatch dates from in-stock models. Ask our UK team if any specification or policy is unclear.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Your buying questions, answered.

Which EnviroRides scooter should I start with?

For a simpler single-motor setup, compare City Pro and X1+. For dual-motor all-rounders, look at M1+ and P1+. R1+, Z1+ Pro, EVR Pro and F1+ Pro give you further performance options, with greater weight and storage demands. Use the model advice above, then select two or three scooters in the comparison table.

Will I get the advertised range on every ride?

No. The figures are maximums under optimum conditions. Rider weight, terrain, speed, weather, tyre pressure and battery condition can affect the distance you achieve. Leave a margin rather than planning a ride to the quoted maximum.

What is the difference between motor power and peak output?

The motor row shows the listed rated motor power; the peak row shows the stated maximum output. Peak output is not continuous power. It is one part of the comparison, alongside control, tyres, battery, weight and intended riding conditions.

Is scooter weight the same as maximum load?

No. Scooter weight is the machine itself. Maximum load is the limit for the rider and anything carried. Boxed shipping weight and package dimensions are different again. Check the product specifications and ask our team if you need a particular measurement.

How do pre-orders and sold-out models work?

Pre-order labels are shown where an eligible model is available to order before physical stock arrives. Open the product page for the latest expected timing and payment details. Sold-out models remain in the guide so you can compare them, but cannot be purchased while unavailable.

When will my scooter arrive?

Timing depends on stock status and your delivery address. In-stock scooters and pre-orders have different dispatch arrangements. Read the current information on your product page and our Shipping & Delivery page before ordering.

What about warranty, returns and replacement parts?

Cover varies by model and component, so check our warranty policy. For a change of mind or a problem with an order, follow the conditions on our Returns & Refunds page. Our UK team can help you identify compatible parts and the right support route.

Can I spread the cost?

Available payment options can include Klarna, Clearpay and PayPal. Eligibility, terms and the options offered are confirmed by the provider at checkout. Visit our finance page for details. EnviroRides is a credit broker, not a lender.

Where can I legally ride a privately owned eScooter in the UK?

Privately owned eScooters cannot currently be used on UK public roads, pavements or cycle lanes. They can be used on private land with the landowner's permission. Authorised rental trials have separate rules. Check the latest GOV.UK guidance before riding.
